One-on-one therapy sessions allow Stacey to hone in on a child's needs and specific goals.
Expressive and Receptive Language Delays
For children who are unable to clearly communicate his or her ideas, wants and needs, unable to demonstrate an understanding of basic concepts, answer questions, and follow directions.
Oral Motor Delays and Feeding Difficulties
Stacey incorporates exercises and oral motor massages to help increase weak lingual, labial and mandibular strength and mobility. She also helps children develop age-appropriate feeding skills and promote positive mealtime behaviors in order to foster healthy feeding habits.
Articulation
Articulation is the production of speech sounds. An articulation disorder is when a child does not make speech sounds correctly due to incorrect placement or movement of the lips, tongue, velum, and/or pharynx.
